Free vaccinations for people 60+ against pneumococci

The city mayor signed another agreement with Dr. Janusz Trzos from the NZOZ T-MED for free vaccinations against pneumococci as part of the "Pneumococcal Infection Prevention Program for Biała Podlaska Residents 60+." Pneumococci cause pneumonia with bacteremia, sepsis, and meningitis – very serious invasive pneumococcal diseases that, in older people and those with chronic illnesses and immune deficiencies, often lead to exacerbations of comorbidities and, in some cases, death. Vaccinations for people 60+ can be performed at the NZOZ T-MED on Terebelska Street and Zygmunta Augusta Street in Biała Podlaska.
